Do I need to buy specific devices for my team, to work with Mobit?

No, Mobit is compatible with any mobile handset brought to market within the last three years and it also works with Blackberrys and PDAs.

 

Do I need to buy equipment for the server side of Mobit?

No. As Mobit is cloud computing software, you will not need to worry about the server side at all, it is all housed within our servers. All you need is a computer to log on to the browser interface and, of course, devices for your remote workers.

 

What if my workers don't work outside, as such, but use WiFi enabled devices that are not mobile phones?

If your workers have a WiFi device that they use to stay in contact, for example, a Nokia N800i, then this is still compatible with Mobit.

 

Can Mobit be integrated with our in-house systems so that we can import the data that comes back to the server?

Yes, we can easily integrate Mobit with most in-house systems. When we demo Mobit for you, we can see your in-house system and explain how we can start the integration process.

 

What if my phone doesn't have GPS?

Mobit will still work but without the GPS co-ordinate aspect. Alternatively if you have bluetooth, which most mobile phones from the last few years do, then you can use a bluetooth GPS dongle which will enable the GPS tracking feature within Mobit.

 

What if my workers are in very remote places and lose internet connectivity whilst sending forms?

Mobit will save all unsent forms if internet connectivity is lost, and then the user can resend the completed form when they have the Internet again. The software also caches templates so that if the form template has changed, when connectivity is restored the user can still fall back on the old one.

 

Is there a minimum number of users that an organisation must have to use Mobit?

No, if you only have one handset in your organisation that needs the software, we can still deploy Mobit.

 

How much does Mobit cost?

Mobit costs £12 per device, per month although we can offer discounts for bulk licences.

 

We use lots of different forms for different jobs and contracts. How easy is it to define different forms for different days or different workers?

Incredibly easy - you can just login to the browser on the server side and define new forms within minutes. You will also have complete control over which forms you send to which device.

  

What kind of fields can I put in the form?

That's completely up to you, forms can be customised to suit your needs. We can offer text fields, dropdown boxes, check boxes and the requirement to attach images, audio and video so you can create your forms however you need them.
